Summary: Relapse is a collaborative project shot on a 16mm film. It was a dream for us young filmmakers coming true when we got our hands on the precious 16mm material. During shooting we encountered numerous obstacles and learnt a lot.

Long story short: Relapse is the story of Oliver, who got abducted and is caught in a cellar. He somehow manages to get free, only to fall into the hands of his captor again.

Relapse was shown at FH Aachen’s Showtime film festival in July 2015.

Jakob

Course: Movie Analysis & Media Design Basics
Type: Episode for a short series
Production time: November 2014 to January 2015 [5 days of shooting, 4 weeks of editing]
Group size: 8 students including the actors and actresses.
Role: Co-Director, Make-up
Summary: Jakob is a young man suffering from mysophobia, living on his own. He has been in therapy for about 5 years with no results. His therapist then advises him to overcome his fear by participating in the mundane life. Jakob then decides to wash his christmas socks (which he would never wear because red is too flashy) in a local wash salon. Of course everything goes wrong and Jakob has to make a decision: fight or flight?

Since a member of our film crew already uploaded the film, I’ll embed it here so I don’t have to upload it twice.

Hey Listen!

Course: Movie Analysis & Media Design Basics
Type: Television programme
Production time: October 2014 to November 2014 [1 day of shooting, 2 weeks of editing]
Group size: 5 students including the actress.
Summary: Hey Listen! is a so called ‘trashy’ tv magazine made for the residents of the comic and anime world.
The host is TwoFace who talks about anything relevant from lifestyle to weather, from Gotham to Vertalia City.
Poor quality, faults and acting out of character are the keys of this magazine show.
